From the dream to reality
Adrian Handoztok was born in Buenos Aires in 1977. From a very early age he dreamed of yachts. Indeed, he sailed on the family boats with his father and drew inspiration from the work of German Frers and Javier Soto.
In this way, the Argentinian studied naval architecture at the National University of Quilmesto achieve his ambition. After a highly successful academic career, Adrian was hired by Nestor Völker, a renowned naval architect based in Buenos Aires.
He has realised his childhood dream: he can finally design boats.
A man of experience
In 2004, Adrian Handoztok joined the team at JYD where he has been involved in a series of very demanding projects like the America’s Cup and the Volvo Ocean Race.
The Argentinian is a highly communicative and experienced naval architect who is never short of ideas.
A hard worker, rigorous, quick and efficient, he is part of the R&D and conceptual design department. Over the years, his major specialism has been the development of appendages.
When he turns off his computer he loves to read and swim.
